Well, I'm not married, but my girlfriend is a violist. That is not on the list...should I just put that she is not a musician.

My wife is an amateur vocalist ... church choir, stuff like that. She also plays handbells, but I don't want to defame her by calling her a percussioninst.

You single guys and gals ought to vote the "desires of your heart." Who do you think would make the best spouse for you?

I had stopped playing by the time my wife and I were dating, but she should have picked up on my hidden passion by the number of Florida State School of Music events to which I took her. (Not to mention those were real economical dates!

She was a choral gal in high school and almost went to FSU in voice. I could easily see her getting into church choir or something similar once the kids are graduated/gone and we have a little more time in our schedules. She's been very supportive of my trumpet-playing comeback.

I met my wife in college marching band (She played flute).
She is now a 6th grade teacher, and does not play flute anymore, but she is very tolerant of my horn and mouthpiece habit..............

(To a point, of course)

My wife plays piano, keyboard, organ. Not sure I like her being lumped in with percussionists... - Don

My wife is a beginning percussionist. As the kids started playing, and I started back on trumpet she felt left out. As a child, she always wanted to play drums, but her parents wouldn't let her. Now she's taking lessons and playing in the community band.

She's very supportive of all of the music in the household. So supportive in fact that she told me to pick up the flugelhorn of my choice for Christmas. (So a beautiful Conn V1 joined the flock yesterday)
