I've been slowly working through systematic approach in bass clef. For the pedals, should I do the fake "trumpet" pedals (which I just experimented and found out today I could play on my euphonium) or play the actual note on my instrument. For the daily pedal practice I usually go down on the actual notes and then past my pedal b flat, but of course I'm not too sure that Claude had the euphonium at the front of his mind when writing his exercises. What would y'all recommend?
