im a beginner with the caruso excersices and i do the six notes seconds and harmonics everyday. my question is where should i draw the line with pressure. when im doing the seconds as i get up towards my higher register i start to push a lot and was wondering if i should stop before i get to this point.

Don't stop until the sound stops coming out of the horn. Even then, keep blowing and tapping your foot until you get to the next scheduled rest/breath.

In calisthenic practice pressure is not a problem. It is a symptom of an imbalance and the best and quickest way to fix that kind of imbalance is by doing these calisthenic exercises properly every day.

Ignore how it feels and how it sounds. Focus your entire concentration on perfecting the timing and following the rules (blow steady, nose breath, etc.).
