I saw Terence Blanchard on a PBS Boston Pops special today-- a tribute to Jimmy McHugh. Nice program-- the man plays incredibly.
The horn--- did anybody see it? I am sure it was customized to some degree, but what was it? The leadpipe was very thick and you really could not tell where the leadpipe ended and the mouthpiece began.
Great looking horn, and incredibly gifted trumpeter.

Thanks. I looked it up on the Monette page. That was it. So, is the mouthpiece actually integrated into the leadpipe?
