Like everything else, it depends on how badly we over-do it. I can see
having this ON OCCASION and if the rest of the days' meals will be VERY
light. Obviously, having one of these behemoths every day could kill
you but, as it states in the article, it's just another choice. It's simply up
to ourselves not to abuse that choice.

Noone eats a real high quality burger anymore...
I bet half the american kids today don't know that the hamburger was NOT invented at McDonalds...
A good well topped burger can actually be quite good for you, if it weren't totally SOAKED in grease, and everything else that causes them to be a
99 (dang there's no cent sign on the keyboard) heart attack.
Wow...a real charcoal grilled burger sounds good right now... |

This sandwich is no more harmful to the body than cigarettes or beer. Why don't we ridicule Phillip Morris and Budweiser? Perhaps I'll film a movie called, "Tap My Keg," in which I'll drink a case of beer a day to demonstrate the already known effects of alcohol on the body.
You need two things for a viable market - supply and demand. Fast food chains are only half the equation. Anyone that eats fast food and says they didn't know it was bad for them is either lying, or lives under a rock. Our society needs a serious dose of personal accountability. _________________ Bach Model 37 Bb

You speak for yourself.
One of the local pubs around here does a fantastic burger. High quality meat, cooked to perfection, served with fresh salad - truly fantastic
After eating one of those, it becomes an insult when MuckDonalds, or any of the rest of those places, even make slight reference to their meat-based products as "burgers". |

Ever try Lick's burgers? Those things are goooood.
I hear McDonald's say their burgers are made out of 100% beef because the company that sells them their meat is called "100% beef". Enough said. |

I can't stand fast food eggs, they make me sick. I don't even care much for fast food breakfast in general. |

I agree with the MuckDonalds statement above. Their Menu says it all.
Big Muck
Muck chicken sandwick
Muck ribs
Etc....
Putrid, mechanically reclaimed crap from dodgy carcasses, dressed up as food. Yeuck!! _________________ Haagston US3 Bb Trumpet

Would not surprise me either John.
I can't imagine starting off my day with that crap; I'd feel sluggish all day long. _________________ Allen - 'Chops-in-Hotlanta'

Actually that Breakfast sandwhich sounds pretty good to me. I mean hell yes its bad for you but as stated above it cant be any more bad than consuming 2 fast food burgers, and im sure we have ALL done that.
I was watching Jay Leno a couple weeks ago or so and Sylvester Stallone was a guest and he was saying on the weekends he gorges the whole weekend. Everything from Pizza to Geno's Cheese-steaks, then he also said when Monday comes he cuts back and works out or does some type of exercise.
Point being is if you excerise (and im not talking about extensive cardio and power workouts) just some type of excerise like running a mile every other day or so, so can still eat what you want and maintain a well lifestyle.
Also I understand not everybody has the time of day to excerise properly (as I can admit my days can be full with trumpet practice, college, studying, and work) but im just saying yes this sounds like an extreme fatty food but with excerise it will not seem as bad, but seriously who eats b-fast at the BK or McD's everyday? For me not even once a week, maybe 2 times a month max? So if thats how much you eat fast food then im sure you wont have much to worry about. _________________ Cheers,
