Hi,
After listening to a recording of this I was wondering what key trumpet it was played on. Also, does anyone have a copy that they wish to sell for less than the list price... I looked on Robert King and it was like 50 bucks.

Thanks

The work is played on C trumpet. You might try a college music library(if possible) for getting a copy of the part.

Normally this piece is played on a C trumpet because there are several written low G's. Although it could work on a 4 valve D trumpet....

And yes French publications are VERY expensive!! I would love to have all of the Billaudout Maurice Andre baroque arrangements, but at $15-20 a pop I can't afford more than a few each year.
