...where's the best place to go to listen to jazz? I'm leaving early tomorrow morning (and by early I mean EARLY... why they schedule flights to leave at such disgusting hours is beyond me) and coming back on Monday, and we're looking for a couple of gigs to go to. Friday is taken though... this entire trip was planned around the Manhattan Transfer gig at Navy Pier that night

So if you're in San Diego and know who's playing where Saturday night or something, or you just know of a place that regularely has good acts, and you would tell me, that would be wonderful. Anyways, it looks like it's going to be a good trip! Talk to you when I get back.

Just go down to the gas-lamp district and walk around, theres always something going on musically down there...
