when your working on a skill such as triple tounging do you think it is better to just work on it out of the arbans or to take a piece with a lot of triple tounging like showers of gold by clark and play it slow so it would be like playing a more interesting melodic arbans.

IMHO work the arbans and scale patterns until you can actully DO it (not necessarily beautifully) and then perfect teh musicality of it on a piece of music. But i think you will be very frustrated if you try to learn how to mult. tounge on a piece of music, because often its much harder to tounge the piece than the arbans studies. (until the last few pages, that is:))
