when your working on a skill such as triple tounging do you think it is better to just work on it out of the arbans or to take a piece with a lot of triple tounging like showers of gold by clark and play it slow so it would be like playing a more interesting melodic arbans. _________________ Don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong.

IMHO work the arbans and scale patterns until you can actully DO it (not necessarily beautifully) and then perfect teh musicality of it on a piece of music. But i think you will be very frustrated if you try to learn how to mult. tounge on a piece of music, because often its much harder to tounge the piece than the arbans studies. (until the last few pages, that is:))
