In 2010 I was selling a Holton ST 306S Maynard Ferguson trumpet. Jason Parra contacted me and was interested, but for some reason I had it in my head that the trumpet was a ST 302S. Pretty stupid right? Anyway, because of the misinformation Jason went and purchased another horn from someone else. I called him later and we had a very nice conversation and that was it. I never kept up with him.

When I got the news that Kanstul was going out of business I looked up some boutique horns that I knew Kanstul made. One of them was Zeus, and I saw that Jason had endorsed the instrument. I looked up recent info on Jason and found that he had died in July of 2012.

Does anyone know what happened to Jason?
