The book is titled Trumpet Secrets, it is interesting.
It contains studies written by Jules Levy.
Try it.

Is this somewhat similar to the Superchops method, or did Jerry make some major modifications in the new book?

Jerry made major modifications. Everything is explained much better and it really clears things up for people trying to learn without a teacher. I have made a pretty big discovery with my embouchure within the last couple of days after reading the book. Now, it'll take a while for me to change my embouchure, which is expected, but this book really helps. I strongly recommend it.
