As a downstream player, I find myself playing into the stand more than I should. What's the best remedy? Just lean back and try to get the bell up? Have my mouthpiece bent? How many degrees can I go before I interfere with intonation? Anything else I can do?
Thanks for any advice!
Jim

i like to play w/ my stand over to the side a bit, as if you are sharing it w/ the persion next to you, the bell can be right next to it, just be carful that you aren't over-powering the audiance because your playing stright out vs everyone else having stuff blocking them. _________________ mark aka donalson
