How does it work? The circular breathing?
I listened to the audio clip "Moto Perpetuo" and wanted to know why.
The only thing I know is that you breathe in through your nose while blowing the horn.

There is a really good book just out called CIRCULAR BREATHING by clarinetist Robert Spring. It has short chapters for each woodwind and brass instrument with specific instructions and exercises. The trumpet chapter is written by Josef Burgstaller (Canadian Brass).

The book is published by Windplayer Publications in Malibu, CA.
