If you want to learn how to apply James Stamp's approach in your daily playing, do check out http://new.oberlin.edu/office/summer-programs/trumpet-workshop/ where you will find detailed information about the annual Oberlin Trumpet Workshop, from 6 July - 16 July 2014 (this is a changed date). Here you will be taught by two former Stamp students, Roy Poper (Oberlin Conservatory) and Arto Hoornweg (Rotterdam Philharmonic/ Utrecht Conservatory). Also, Ken Larson (Brasswerks-Larson trumpets) will give a masterclass about trumpet designing and acoustics.
Application Deadline is April 30th. The workshop has on staff preeminent collaborative artist James Howsmon who accompanies the two recitals that conclude the ten day workshop. This workshop is designed for high school and college students as well as teachers and serious amateurs.

This trumpet workshop should be interesting for those of us who use Stamp's methodology. I can state from recent first hand experience what an inspirational teacher and wonderful person Roy Poper is! He also has many of his own interesting ideas to share with us. What an opportunity.
