Does TH have an "ignore" button that can be activated so a given user's posts aren't displayed.

Thanks

No. The previous version did, but that function was shed during a site upgrade ... I think the capability was lost due to changes in the phpBB software used to run TH. There's a Firefox plug-in that lets you do that, but the plugin is isn't compatible with the more recent Firefox releases.

You can Ignore in the lounge in a particular topic.

I'm just curious, but how did that feature work? like did it not show them, because that would be confusing.

That's exactly how if worked ... blocked users' posts were just not visible. Unfortunately, quoted text from blocked users was, so it wasn't as sure a cure for annoyance as it might seem at first blush.

There was also some interesting speculation about what would happen if you blocked your own username ...

Thanks. That just seems annoyingly confusing. Trying to follow a thread with parts missing. Did it say that the user was blocked on certain posts so it made a little more sense?

Wait did someone just post after my last one or not? I'm not sure if I'm ignoring them, or nobody posted......
