Hi All,
I will be playing in Los Angeles this week with the New West Symphony:
www.newwestsymphony.org
Performing Haydn and Allen Vizzutti's "The Rising Sun". For all players in the LA area, the Wadsworth Theater concert is only $15 if you mention the "Jens rate" (yup, what a perk...I get my own rate!!!)
Featuring the following horns (we are a trumpet site after all!!!)
Prototype Yamaha E flat designed by Bob Malone
Yamaha 9830 Piccolo
Yamaha 'Z' Flugel
Yamaha 'LA' B flat designed by Bob for Wayne Bergeron...cool high range!!!
Gold plated GR mouthpieces designed for me by Gary Radtke...available soon...I will be showing some of them at the NTC conference in March... GREAT mouthpieces. Compact (we don't use evil words such as small here) and incredibly efficient!!!
Hope to see any of you Southern Californians there...say hello afterward!
Jens

Jens,
I just purchased the Canadian Brass Cd on Bernstein. Your playing of "Make Our Garden Grow" is awesome. Wish I could make your LA performance. _________________ Richard

Ohhh, those GR mouthpieces sound interesting. As of now, I'm playing on one of the custom zoni mouthpieces. I'll have to try yours at NTC conference if I get a chance. _________________ Alison
