Cool solo. I think it was one of the first I ever really memorized and studied. I remember someone telling me that every trumpet player should transcribe this solo and try and imitate Freddie's style as close as possible- It's so well-crafted and musical. I love that 2 note motif he plays with in parts of the solo.

Agreed! Freddie sounds so good around this period...

I think I have his solo on "Hub Tones" written out somewhere as well (nasty head!) but I haven't had time to dig it up.

That is the first song I ever heard Hubbard play. That is one of my favorite solos. I appreciate all the work you're doing. Thanks Again!
