I'm considering buying a 1954 Henri-Selmer Paris 24b. It's a beautiful instrument, but I don't know too much about these trumpets. I know that it's a pre-K-Mod. Can anyone tell me more about these instrumets? How would they rate them? At the moment I'm playing a 60's Olds Recording, but I don't have the chance to play this horn before buying...
The owner is asking $1000 - too much maybe? |

Dan, along with the replies you get here, consider emailing Alan Rouses. Google "Selmer Paris Central."
Prior to buying my old Selmer, he answered an email from me quickly, politely, and with some good info. _________________ 1972 Selmer Radial |

Ok thanks! I'll shoot him an email. I've seen his Olds Central website so he should be really helpful. |
