Trying to identify this horn. I know I've seen one like it, can't remember where. Stand out is the waterkey, no third slide water key, angled strut braces like early Conn Directors.

Looks as if the ferrule connecting the bell bow to the straight part of the bell also has a brace connecting to the end of the mouthpiece receiver. The third slide has no water key nor lyre socket. The main slide water key is straight and underslung. None of that says Conn, particularly that brace straight to the end of the receiver. Maybe Pedlar, or mid 50's POS stencil.

The receiver, rear bell brace, and bell coupler are all Getzen.

Don't see any matching models in Getzen or Peddler. I think the key is that underslung long spit valve. I know I've seen that before. Case it's in is obviously 50's style, but unusual to not have a 3rd valve spit valve by that time. Oh well, selling for $80 if I can get seller to respond might get some more info. On one of the lesser known sites where I've found it's best to communicate first because a lot of abandoned sales.

NOT Conn.
Possibly Getzen (early) Model 80 or Model 90?
Water keys similar to Couesnon Lafayette, Gretsch?
Perhaps a stencil.

water key sorta like very early Olds Ambassador or some Holton Collegiates, Carl Fisher, Huttl, Rudy Muck (a few examples), Fulltone, to mention a few I just looked up. I still suspect It is a bargain stencil assembled from contracted parts.

I knew the bell joint looked sort of Getzen, but it looks like a different location, closer to the bell bow.

CORRECTION: I concur the bell braces and bell joint are identical to older Getzen.

Now I remember where I saw a water key like that, on my own York Baronet, lol. It also has the same bell braces and a very similar case. Oh well no response from the seller on that anyway, so likely an abandoned sale.
