Iis there a way to embed an audio file, like an iTunes file, as opposed to a YouTube link in a post? I've got a recording that is not commercially available by a well known trumpet player that I'd like to share with the group, but I don't know how to do it. |

I think the best you can do is to find a place on the net to host the file, then post a link. There's no file storage capability for TH users, and no special tags like the ones used for YouTube. _________________ Steve Thiel |

that's too bad. finding a site tohost it, signing up with the site, learning how to post the file, etc., is a bit more than I'm prepared to do. if someone has a quick fix... |

There is one minor detail that you are overlooking, and that is bandwidth. It can get pretty expensive to stream audio, and Flash videos...forget it.
If you can find a site that would do it for free, then it would be worth your effort to learn how to use it. As they say..."Nothing is free." _________________ http://www.co-bw.com/ |

Maybe you could set up a myspace music account and just put it there and post a link. Make sure it is myspace music though, because, unless you change the preferences, only friends can view the profile. |
