Hi everybody,
I' m looking for any information about the meaning of LP engraved on vintage Besson trumpets made in England.
Mine seems to be a post war model according to serial # 234XXX.

LP means large bore "plus" as I recall
.470 bore?? |

That's right, LP = opposite of HP (High pitch).
