hi everyone.i have a problem.when i place my mouthpiece i trying to feel the teeth like reinardt said and put more weight on the lower lip.its working when im in my middle register but when im trying to descend to regular c it feels like it is to much pressure for my lips and if i try to lesser the prussure i dont feel my teeth.so what should i do??and about all this four legs thing id does not feel natural to me,it feels like i squeeze my lips _________________ SDSD |

"Feeling your teeth" is not really the goal; it sounds like you're using too much pressure.
You need a certain amount of mouthpiece pressure ("backwards pressure"), but it should be equalized with "forward pressure" that you create from your embouchure to counteract the "backwards pressure" of your mouthpiece.
"Four legs" is the cushioned feeling of a stable foundation created by the combination of "backwards pressure" and "forward pressure." |
