Ok, this isn't a trumpet piece specifically but, I figured someone here would know. What are the titles to the movements from Robert Russell Bennett's Suite of Old American Dances? I know the first one is titled "Cake Walk."

Thanks.

Found this on the internet using google:

  • The Cake Walk is a light upbeat movement with syncopation and rhythms that will challenge the players.
  • The Schottische can be done in either two or a fast four, this is a laid back section that has as almost cartoonish sound.
  • The Western One-step on the other hand is an upbeat active section that puts the brass against the woodwinds in many sections and allows the extremes of the sections to show through.
  • The Wallflower Waltz is a beautiful dance while the Rag is almost a jazz piece with all of its syncopation and laid back style

A mega-search engine. Some say it's better than Yahoo. It also has a web version of the newsgroups. I keep up with RAMD and the trumpet news group off of Google.

Edit: The address is http://www.google.com

Actually, a meta-search engine; one which searches all other search engines (kind of a "super search engine").
FWIW - Don

I didn't even realize it was a meta-search engine...i was just going for the "big, awesome thing" aproach. Didn't know i was that close...lol. Thanks for the correction, though.
