Letting go of my extremely early Elkhart Bach 72 Vindabona to make room for a Mt Vernon 72. This horn is a fantastic player with the most modern sound of any Bach trumpet configuration. It’s a step bore design, similar to the Martin committee, and was the inspiration for some of Monette’s early designs. The Bach 72 Vindabona was Wynton Marsalis’ setup prior to switching to Monette. This is a great all-around horn for everything from jazz to lead to classical. This horn is a magnificent player, with a rich and satin sound across the whole range of the instrument. Bach only made 125 Mt. Vernon 72's, making this one likely one of the first 200 ever built! Valves are great and it was just ultrasonically cleaned. Contact me for more pics (TH is being difficult with uploading images), inquiries, offers, and trades.
