Lawler C7 - gold plated! (Roy's version of the Martin Committee...with modifications) - ML bore, step-bore design

Built in 2006; purchased 2nd hand in 2016. I early 2017, I had a trigger added to the main tuning slide by Beck Brass Works. This was for micro-tuning during mute, mouthpiece, and horn changes, organ stops with change in pitch level, horn switching in cold rooms, and for coloring the sound. In the summer of 2017, Josh Landress added the Saturn water keys and a brace to the tuning slide to secure the trigger connection upon my request. The tuning slide and 3rd slide were gold plated again after Saturns were installed. I recently had the trigger removed to use on another horn. Slight gold plating loss on 3rd valve casing and tuning slide brace, but silver “strike” (prep for gold plate) is still visible, meaning no raw brass exposed…to my eye. The remainder of the horn looks to be virtually complete gold plate intact with no dents or dings. Incredibly fast Getzen valves, super slick 1st and 3rd slides.

I have listed this horn three times before (with the trigger), but I keep changing my mind, because I think it is a great B-flat trumpet, but I can’t keep them all.

Beautiful horn. Great player!
