This flugelhorn is from 1940, the first year of the 22A. The only flugelhorn listed in the Conn catalog then. I bought it when I thought I was a collector. When I received it it needed some work. I took it to Charlie Melk and he did a couple things to it including replacing the leadpipe. It was originally designed for a cornet shank mpc. Conn listed it under the "cornet" section at the time, even though it was clearly not a cornet. When the leadpipe was replaced, Charlie Melk asked me if I wanted to go cornet or flugel. I thought to be historically accurate, we ought to go cornet. He agreed. So it has a cornet shank. The Conn Loyalist has more info about this horn. Gold washed bell. (Apparently) original mpc and case are both a bit rough.

Shipping to CONUS for $50.
