Okay, I put my hands up - it's not a "true" Early Elkhart but it is definitely one of the very last "Early" Elkhart style Bachs with the classic two piece valve casings. The horn dates to around 1972 and it is a beautiful horn indeed. Plays very smooth and tightly with its classic Bach #7 leadpipe - a good horn for any player of any ability.

Modifications have been done such as a new #7 Bach leadpipe, 1st slide ring, LOW F extension 3rd slide rod & amado water keys.

The horn is RAW BRASS but currently it has been hand-polished to a shine after an ultrasonic clean/sanitation process. Valves are ever so slightly worn but that is to be expected for 70s horn but the compression is still very good. Some worn spots under the third slide at the block and on the bell at the valve cluster. Some nicks/dings present on the horn but doesn't affect playability.

It has been ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED and VALVES ALIGNED as courtesy to the buyer. ;-)

Price includes necessary Paypal fees & tracked CONUS shipping.
