You'll probably never see one of these in such pristine contition. Especially for a 60 year old horn! Bach Stradivarius SN# 19160 Flugel Horn Model# 165 Bach's early cornet wrap Flugelhorn. Recent Bob Reeves Chem Clean and Valve Alignment.
This is a similar cornet wrap Model Flugel horn that popular jazz trumpet players used. This is the Mdl# 165 I believe the Mdl# 165 from the Mt Vernon era was the precursor to the Mdl# 182 ........ Very cool jazz sound! Not tubby like a conventional flugel Bach Stradivarius SN# 19160 Flugel Horn Model# 165 Manufactured around 1960. All slides and valves work fast and smooth. The horn still carries a lot of compression. Comes with the original case. All latches work and spring open! Just a little love and you have yourself a very cool flugel. Lots more pictures upon request! Check out the videos on my site for two similar model made in the Mt Vernon Era like this current listing.
