Many trumpeters use them as a 'bridge' between mouthpiece and lead pipe, though I used the 33mm Sterling Silver set on my piccolo, between the lead pipe and housing, and the 41mm on a Bb at the reversed tuning slide. They're fun to experiment with, but as with the custom finger buttons, I no longer have the instruments I bought them for. |
