Hello, I´m selling a German made B & S Challenger 3137 / 2 Bb trumpet in clear lacquer. These horns are built after Bach Strad trumpets but with more modern technology. ML leadpipe (11.66 mm), one piece hand-hammered bell (125 mm). Monel pistons.
Excellent condition; slight lacquer loss on the leadpipe and the bell; two small dings on the bell – nothing affecting playability. All slides and valves work perfectly. Spot on intonation, great tone. Ideal both for solo and orchestral work. Older but sturdy hard case included.
This is really a great pro trumpet. Great players who use it include London Symphony Orchestra principal trumpet Phil Cobb or international artist Thierry Caens.
