Hoping to trade and not sell this Connstellation from the mid 1963 or 64s. I got this horn because I wanted to sound like Chet and play as high as Maynard. I mean, who doesn't, right? It turns out much like the Shew horns, the smaller bore didn't work for me. I can just get around better on a little bit bigger bore. Do you have a ML bore horn for trade, preferably something a lighter weight? Want to have a model that some famous jazzers also played? We're talking Chet here. Anyway let's trade.

This Conn is in great condition, as the photos show. Serial number places it made in 1963-64. Compression is not perfect, as this is an instrument from 60 years ago, but there is still plenty of pop when you pull slides out.

The previous owner had the lacquer redone. I have done a a home valve alignment with JL smith pads, and the valves are working great with berp bio-oil, no hangups. All slides move free, all the valve caps and bottoms can unscrew etc.

I will certainly consider selling, but you will need to make me a reasonable offer.
