This is a medium bore Committee from either 1945 or 46. I'm not sure exactly, but that seems to be the vintage. Serial number is 1515XX. Might be from 45. If anyone has more info, please let me know. If you are looking for a large bore, this horn is not for you. It can play a little tight if you're not used to it. Otherwise, it has that nice smokey sound. It was refurbished back in 2009 by Charlie Melk in brilliant gold lacquer. Just one small spot missing. An odd thing is the second valve has the number stamped on the opposite side as the others. Charlie said that that used to happen once in while. All slides work and move great. Valves are smooth. This is a really beautiful instrument.
