LIKE NEW condition, great valve action, looks great. I purchased this horn after taking it out of the plastic brand new at the Los Angeles Yamaha Atilier for a summer with the Disneyland All-American College Band. It was used about four (4) times on stage during that time, and hasn't got much use since!
I take pride in taking care of my horns (it's an old Drum Corps habit), and this one is no exception. It plays great, I'm just needing to clear out my closet. The third valve trigger has an additional cork-and-thread bumper added to extend the triggering range, which was installed by a Yamaha Shokunin instrument specialist in Dallas. Very easy to remove if desired, which will revert it back to its original trigger. Comes w/ case.
