I have too many Bb trumpets, and need to thin the herd. My loss can be your gain. For sale are the following:
(1) ANDREA GIUFFREDI TRUMPET IN LACQUER IN ABSOLUTE MINT CONDITION.
The Giuffredi trumpet is made by Carol Brass, is a light to midweight horn, with great intonation, a very solid core to the sound, and the versatility to play anything from classical, pop, jazz, solo, and section play. This trumpet was designed by Mr. Giuffredi, and is in absolute mint condition. This horn has never left the house and has been exceptionally well cared for. $1850.00 + shipping.
(2) SCHILKE B6 "BILL CHASE" TRUMPET IN STUNNING GOLD PLATE
As most of you know, every Schilke built trumpet is beautifully made, the valves are buttery smooth, and this one has had a professional alignment by Bob Reeves. The Schilke B6 was made famous by trumpet great Bill Chase, first as lead player with Woody Herman and his Herd, but later with his own Jazz/Rock group that was named after its founder, Bill Chase. Chase played this horn into the stratosphere. This horn PROJECTS and sparkles as you ascend into the upper range, but has a beautiful lush sound in the low and middle range as well. This is an exceptional horn, and plays MAGNIFICENTLY! GOLD PLATED - $2600.00 + shipping - new, this horns sells for $7400.00 in Gold Plate.
(3) BAC HOLLYWOOD MODEL IN LARGE BORE .468 IN AS NEW CONDITION.
If you have not played any of the BAC Horn Doctor horns yet, you are really missing something. I own both a BAC Paseo model with a copper bell, which is a beautifully playing horn, and this BAC Hollywood model .468 bore that is an excellent copy of a large bore Martin Committee, at only A FRACTION OF THE PRICE! I have owned several large bore Martin Committees, an Adams A9 in the large .468 bore, and a Schilke Handcraft in the large .468 bore configuration. The BAC Hollywood has a custom antique brass finish, a full .468 bore, Committee like water keys, and plays with the dark smoky sound of the large bore Martin Committee. This horn is in LIKE NEW condition complete with the original case, and I am willing to sacrifice it for $1700.00 + shipping.
I have pictures of all 3 of these fine horns available to anyone that is interested. You will not find ANY used horns in better condition than these 3. All three have been well taken care of and lovingly maintained. |
