| It took a year or two but I have re-introduced my flugelhorn. Formally Kanstul was making my parts to my specifications and with their demise I sought out other manufactures. I have been working with Carol Brass now for several years and they tooled up to supply me with the best parts I have ever found. Truly Rolex watch quality. I use the tunable lower branch for primary tuning along with an adjustable leadpipe to accommodate the various mouthpieces. I supply both a leadpipe with receiver fitting Bach shanks and another leadpipe with a receiver that fits European shanks.
