PRICE REDUCED to $1700 - Serial number puts this survivor at being made circa 1968 - this is a rare early large bore Getzen Eterna Severinsen model Bb trumpet in beautiful silver plate, with the desirable traditional water keys. Valve casing is marked with its 4-digit SK serial number and "LB" for large bore. Bell is marked "Eterna by Getzen Severinsen Model," so this is not just a regular "Getzen Eterna." Price includes period (if not original) case, used but working well, no keys but the latches still work well, lock and spring open.
If you are reading this ad you already know how great these horns play, how smooth and reliable the valves are, and how versatile these horns are depending upon your mouthpiece selection. The Getzen Severinsen is truly an all-around horn - as Doc himself said, you should be able to use one horn for everything.
Just chemically cleaned and valves aligned by Jon Ashcraft of Mercer Music. No signs of major trauma or repair. Besides a bit of plating loss at contact areas and some minor scratches, this horn is as close to new looking and operating as you are going to find. $1700 plus $70 shipping - Paypal protects us both.
