A King by H.N. White shepherds crook cornet, good condition, serial #253X, which puts the date of manufacture at approximately 1893 or 1894. Silver plate, with the famous King lion head stamped on the middle valve casing (only the earliest King cornets had that symbol). All slides move, valve action good. Some scratches and light "pings" but no noticeable dents or other significant flaws. Original King mouthpiece included. An amazing horn to be over 120 years old. $880 plus shipping by insured USPS. Payment by PayPal accepted (plus 4 percent). I am a retired college professor, freelance trumpet player and teacher, and a long-time resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have sold multiple trumpets and other items on Trumpet Herald, and have been a member since 2001. References provided on request. Note: if you are in Canada or any other foreign country, you will have to call me, or we can communicate by Skype. My phone plan does not cover calls made to locations outside the U.S.
