| I've been playing trumpet since 1982 when I started playing at my Church in B'ham AL. Played through middle school, high school, and ultimately at Auburn University. Post college I played in musicals yearly and in a local jazz ensemble. In 1997 i moved to Atlanta, GA to work at Hewlett Packard. Spent 24 years there without ever touching my trumpets (but did teach myself to play the guitar). Recently I became a Widower and decided to move home to B'ham as my Mom is in need of my help. Ive taken this opportunity to revisit and relearn my beloved horns ( I have 20 trumpets I believe). Its taken a lot of time and struggle to realize how much i loved and missed playing the trumpet. |
