My name is Aaron Kahn, and I am a professional trumpet player in the Pacific Northwest. I was a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon, studying with Brian McWhorter, who I feel is one of the best teachers in the world. I have played with the Britt Festival, toured with the Oregon Brass Quintet, and been to other seminal summer festivals.
I'm mostly interested in creative contemporary music of the 21st century, but also love trumpet and organ pieces in picc and D trumpet. I'm an ambitious player and entrepreneur, and I am in the process of accelerating my development to reach the places I want to go. |
