| I have been playing trumpet for 9 years and have played in many different settings. I have played in Jazz Bands (big bands and combos), wind ensembles, concert bands, brass quintets, chamber ensembles, orchestras, funk groups, rock groups, and played numerous solos for recitals. My hope is to one day be a college music professor or play in a professional orchestra. I also teach trumpet to people of all ages. Currently I play on a Bach Strad 72 bell Bb. My C trumpet that I use in orchestra and certain chamber groups is a Yamaha Chicago C, and my flugel is a Yamaha Bobby Shew model. Right now I use a bach 1 1/2 C mouthpiece on my trumpets and a bach 1 1/2 flugel mouthpiece on my flugel. I'm always looking for new people to play with, and new things to learn and would love to help other people do the same. Play HARD!!! |
