| I am Renee, I am currently in high school and am trying to learn as much as I can about this remarkable instrument. I went to my first jazz camp and it was amazing. Our trumpet instructor was Pat Helbing, and I learned a lot. My dad plays trumpet also, so we help each other out. My plans are to major in Music Education, and hopefully perform, but if that doesn't work, I am content being a Middle School Band Director. I enjoy listening to so many different types of music that the above performance thingy's were hard to choose. I love listening to Wynton Marsalis, Chet Baker, Chris Botti, Maynard Ferguson, Phil Driscol, Pat Helbing (recently), Doc Severensin, Alison Balsom, Miles Davis, and many other individuals and groups such as Canadian Brass, Boston Brass, and Chicago. Wow, I think I covered most of it! |
