I am 48 years old. I've played the trumpet since I was 9. Play a Bach Stradivarius L bore made in 1967 (my baby).
Majored in music in college. 24 years in music ministry. Play trumpet whenever I can...I love it. Have played in a lot of groups over the years. I am currently playing bass in our worship team at church since they don't have anyone else to do it. Sometimes I play trumpet instead but it's good for the team to have a bass player. They want me to play both bass and trumpet and sing too all at the same time. I'm not quite able to do all three...but I'm working on it. :)
I have been dabbling with writing some music over the years (a lot of writing and arranging for church use) but working a full-time job and music ministry on a part-time basis didn't allow much time for writing. I have more time to dedicate to writing and I am taking advantage of the opportunity. |
