As a professional musician, Fabio has toured both the US and the UK. With trumpet in hand, he has had the privilege to perform alongside some of the most credited artists, jazz legends, and gospel musicians such as Louie Belson, Steve Houghton, Poncho Sanchez, Rick Baptist, Wayne Bergeron, Rob Lockhart, Lanny Morgan, Matt Johnson, Bebe Winans, Tommy Walker, and Bart Samolis. Fabio regularly performs around Los Angeles with big bands, musicals, salsa bands, gospel groups, as well as several horn sections (including recording for Ariana Grande's album), and he is in high demand as an adjudicator for field tournaments, jazz and wind ensemble festivals.
Having received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Southern California, Fabio finished his graduate level studies at the American Band College at Southern Oregon University, where he received a master’s degree in conducting. Fabio teaches private lessons and regularly conducts clinics throughout the Los Angeles area. He has formal teaching experience at the High School level as the Director of Bands and Department Chair for the Visual & Performing Arts at Workman High School, and also at the college level as Faculty at Azusa Pacific University and Citrus College. |
