Hi I'm Tony Gorruso
I've worked in almost every possible setting as a trumpeter from Classical to Big Band to featured Lead or Jazz soloist, as well as playing ethnic Jewish weddings, polka bands, NOLA styled brass bands, English styled Brass Bands, quartet, quintet, soloist. If it pays money, I've probably done it on trumpet! I do have openings in my schedule for serious students of all levels and am proficient at teaching one to perform more consistently and efficiently! My strengths are in teaching commercial and big band lead trumpet playing, though I can certainly teach classical repertoire to intermediate to advanced college level students. If I feel you'd be better served by a different instructor, I won't fail to quickly point you in the right direction!
