| Understudy of DCI Hall of Famer Hunter Moss. I currently play with the British brass ensemble, Roman Festival Brass, am in talks to publish my first manuscript, am an active brass instrument repair apprentice, am in talks to initiate a youth brass big band in Rome GA, and attend Shorter University. (Yes, I'm 15 and in college full time with a 3.2 GPA!) Thus far the most meaningful impact I have had with my trumpet was playing Taps at soldiers funerals through the Youth Trumpet and Tap Corps; In my humble opinion every teen trumpeter should do this out of duty and as a rite of passage. My main goals at this time are to acquire my doctorate, acquire professional playing experience, cut some tracks, and found and operate a brass centric school that bridges the gaps between school ensemble based education and pre-professional level intensive study. |
