Here is my problem- I have developed some sort of callus on the inside of my lower lip. It isn't really painful, but not exactly comfortable to have around either. I had something like this in high school and an oral surgeon simply removed it and I haven't had a problem since.
I have one tooth on my bottom row that is a little higher than the rest. This is exactly where the callus lines up when my mouthpiece is pressed against it. My trpt. prof. thinks that maybe this has just been building up over time and that bonding may be the solution to make my teeth even.
Has anyone had an experience like this or do you know anything about bonding? Help!
