It's a must-read--right up there with the Arban book.

Other useful advice: You should refer to it as the "UA," and you must never "speak against" it. I'm not sure that that particular rule is clearly stated in the text of the UA, but the issue has come up in recent threads.

Snowflakes on the Trumpet Herald??

Will the administration be handing out hot chocolate, trauma dogs, crayons, play-dough and sensitive needs training as well??

It's been a tough run in recent days for our precious little Snowflakes. It's a jungle out there

If you don't have to put up with the BS, consider yourself fortunate. We have a "scheduled student strike" (I have to believe there's some old ex-hippie prof influence here...) for March 1, admin all concerned about how to handle it. BFD- it's the student's money (or their parent's)- if they skip out it'll be their loss, not mine. Pay still comes in. We all need to remember: Our next generation turns out exactly as we've allowed them to become.

Decades ago in college when a prof had scheduled a quiz for a day off, then remembered and set it for the following day, a few in class cheered. He looked at us and said "college students are the only people I know who want less for their money".

Pat, I wouldn't bother replying to that phallyka account. It's been spamming various threads and just copy/pasting from the first post of the threads.
