I have been talking with a guy who is in the US and was a big friend of Bud's. They did some tests on Bud's inter oral mouth cavity and hooked him up to a machine alongside some other well known high noters, and Bud was MUCH higher in respect of the AIR pressure used than the other fellows. _________________ Regards, Roddy o-iii

this air pressure thing has always confused me. I've read a lot about Brisbois and Shew and other's use of air pressure, (the wedge or something?) but I have no idea what this really means. What is air pressure really? Is it just blowing harder and having the stomach naturally tighten (which mine does, although i don't pay attention to it) or does one physically tighten or flex the abs (consciously) while playing?
While I don't think I have a problem with airflow and "support" (there's that word again!!, I am curious to know if someone can tell me how to improve or what it really means. thanks |
