Robert Sullivan (Northwestern Faculty) and Bill Denton (Lyric Opera Principal Trumpet) perform the two-trumpet concerti of Vivaldi and Plog. Beethoven's "Leonore" Overture, with its infamous trumpet calls, is also on the program. Composer-trumpeter Anthony Plog himself will give a talk.
