Just buy the King Pelican case (1600) from Pelican. $125.00 brand new on Ebay. The perfect case, totally custom to your needs. http://www.pelican.com

Hey BC,
Thanks for that link. Those look great, in fact, is that the case that Tom Kelly uses? I haven't been able to find that before. How many horns can you get into the 1600 model? I might just do away with 3 cases and get one of those. Those seem to be inexpensive too, for what you get. Thanks |

I use one as a double case with the horns facing opposite directions. I also have plenty of room for my mouthpiece case, oil, etc. I think Tom does use the pelican. I think that Joel Edwards in Omaha has a Bb, C, and pic in his. You can get a brand new one on Ebay for $125. If you or anyone wants, I could take a picture of my set up so you can see how I laid out the design.

I use pelican cases for other things and they are outstanding cases, so if you can use it for your horns I know it will give you great protection and flexibility. _________________ Allen - 'Chops-in-Hotlanta'

We use Pelicans for video equipment (except cameras), which we ship as checked baggage. Never had a problem (except when someone in baggage/security opens them, then doesn't close them properly, and everything spills out on the carousel.) _________________ Jim Hatfield

Hey Felix,
Can you post a pic or two of the case you made? I think a lot of us would like to see it. _________________ Jim Hatfield
