My Olds Super is a total of 19.75 inches from the bell to the end of leapipe (longer leadpipe than my Olds Ambassador).

I tried a Pro-tec single conture case and the Super's leadpipe stuck out past the molded area and into to the zipper area. The SKB conture did not close good and felt as though I would crush the horn.

Does any one know what brand/style of cases are long enough for a 20 inch trumpet?

Gator? Winter? Pro-tech? SKB retangular? Others?

Would like to spend less than $100.00

Thanks for your help!

Sure man, I had the same problem with my eclipse... get a Protec Extreme, they are plenty long enough and just much better cases than the contours... and you can fit TONS of stuff in the pocket.

For more specifics you need to contact Pro-Tec or at least visit their website (http://www.ptcases.com). They have a good selection of quality cases and the dimensions are posted on the site. Most cases are between 20" & 24".

If you only want a single trumpet case, a Torpedo Bag cannot be beaten. They will take all amount of abuse (I can stand on one and I am not small!!), will take the longer-than-usual instruments and will fit in the overhead lockers of most aeroplanes.
